This course will define important distinctions and benefits between passive versus active yoga with Restorative and Yin Yoga. Subject matter covered will include basic postures from both styles, use of props, sequencing, creating an environment, verbal
cuing, how to touch, provide assistance and make adjustments as well as creative combinations of Yin/Restorative and Restorative with Thai Massage.

Lisa is a certified Sivanada Yoga Instructor. She is also a graduate of the Hatha, Vinyasa and therapeutic-based Yoga Space Teacher Training program.
A hands-on teacher who believes in the healing power of therapeutic touch, Lisa brings elements of Thai massage into all of her classes. Guided by the Buddhist principle of metta (loving-kindness), she creates a supportive and safe environment in which to explore and grow. Her classes focus on breathing, alignment, mindful movement and love! She sees yoga asana as a vehicle for mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual transformation.
