In this training you will learn to incorporate Partner Yoga poses into your classes and/or create basic practices for two using the principles of safety, grounding, balance, trust and touch. You will also learn to fly with the basics of Acro-Yoga, principles
of bone stacking and counter balancing.Partner Yoga brings two or more people joining together to deepen the impact and experience of a yoga practice. The primary component that differentiates partner yoga from traditional yoga, is touch. We touch and are
touched by others in a safe and playful way in order to build trust, which allows us to open to greater depths in our bodies and in our practice.

Alex is certified in Bikram Yoga and First Place Champion of the 2013 Bhishnu Ghosh Yoga Competitions that are held annually in Vancouver.
Natalie Marnica is founder and director of Sacred Mountain Yoga.
Alex and Natalie both began their journey with yoga several years ago. Searching for new avenues of self-expressing they discovered Partner Yoga and through practicing together found that it deepened their friendship and connection. Coming from different backgrounds in yoga, they developed techniques and bonded styles to create unique and playful Partner Yoga workshops. As teachers, their goal is to share and inspire others through their passion for yoga and affect positive growth in their student's lives.
