This session is designed to provide attendees with a basic understanding and level of knowledge which will allow them to enter a confined space safely or attend to the duties of the standby worker.
At the end of the session attendees will understand;

» The field level hazard assessment performed on site immediately prior to entry
» The personal protective equipment involved and how to properly use and maintain it
» The basic requirements of testing the atmosphere and review of the equipment
» The importance of ventilation and how ventilation systems work for confined space
» The entry permit and how to complete one
» Emergency procedures and rescue requirements
