This program will involve a morning session, using all of the components of the Fall Protection (Basic) program. In the afternoon, participants will be provided the opportunity to try on the gear to learn the requirements for adjusting the equipment and using it in a safe manner.
At the completion of the session participants will understand;
» All of the elements of fall protection included in the basic session
» How to inspect a fall protection system
» How to select and confirm an anchor point
» The variety of personal fall protection devices available
» The difference in fall restraint vs fall arrest systems
» How to deploy your personal fall protection system to avoid risk.
» How to construct a temporary guard rail
