Study of several aesthetic and medical skin conditions and lesions. Training for Multifunctional Advanced Skin Care Machines for Skin Rejuvenation. Facial Steaming and Ozone (Oxygen) Therapy, Deep Vacuum Pore Cleansing and Extraction, Microdermabrasion, High Frequency and Radio Frequency, Galvanic Lifting, Ultrasonic, and office management skills: including how to work around a dermatologist physician as an assistant and more.
Certified Aesthetic Dermatology Technician program includes study of several aesthetic and medical skin conditions and lesions. Students will learn how to use devices and techniques for several kinds of skin lesions. Students will become familiar with the most common skin disorders. This course will enable the graduates to diagnose most frequent skin problems and deal with the ones that can be treated in a Medical Aesthetics office setting. Students will be able to advise their clients for further follow up with appropriate physicians. Upon completion of this program the graduates will be ready to assist their clients for the treatment of acne, mole, freckle, skin tags, warts, superficial fat bumps, dry skin, deep cleansing and pore extraction and the diet and nutrition involved in healthy skin. Upon completion, Aesthetic Dermatology Technicians will be able to operate laser and IPL machines for hair removal, skin rejuvenation, pigmentation treatment and spider vein removal. Students will learn how to do full facial treatments using microdermabrasion, ozone therapy, steaming, high frequency and radio frequency devices.
