George Torok was a shy and introverted student. Today he coaches executives to deliver million-dollar presentations and trains professionals to deliver Superior Presentations.
He was NOT a natural born public speaker. That’s one of the reasons he is such an effective presentation skills trainer and speech coach. He learned how to speak. He stumbled, embarrassed himself and made mistakes. And he learned from those experiences.
George understands the principles and techniques. He can teach others. He’s familiar with the mistakes and can help you avoid them.
He has coached hundreds of executives and leaders. He’s trained thousands of professionals, managers and sales reps. He’s delivered over 1500 presentations on three continents. He has spoken in conference halls, training rooms and board rooms. He once delivered
a presentation on a moving train.
He instructed the three-day program, Effective Executive Speaking, at the Canadian Management Centre for 12 years. He taught business presentation skills to hundreds of MBA students at DeGroote School of Business for four years. He’s been a guest speaker
at three other of Canada’s prestigious business schools – Rotman, Schulich and Queens. He has helped teach public speaking to teenagers for more than 10 years.
As host of the weekly radio show, Business In Motion, he interviewed over 600 business and community leaders.
George has contributed to at least 12 books and has published over 500 articles. He is often featured in the media as a communication and presentations skills expert.
What did clients say?
"You demonstrated to us how to cut a 60-minute rambling presentation, into a 12-minute clear, concise and focused presentation that helped us secure a $10 million project."
Sam Kohn, President, Kubik
“Thank you for your assistance and direction. My speech in Budapest was very successful. I received lots of positive feedback. I couldn’t have done it without you.”
Dale Armstrong, CEO, Armstrong International Mover
"One of George's special talents is his ability to bring out the best in other people. He is able to put his finger on the key passage of a speech or a report and right away find a better way to express it in words, tones, or gestures."
John Robert Colombo, C.M., D.Litt.
